Ultrasonic Leak Detector PCE-LDC 10

Leak detection using sound / Includes noise-cancelling headphones

The ultrasonic leak detector PCE-LDC 10 is used in a wide range of industries. For example, the ultrasonic leak detector can help identify leaks in compressed air, gas, steam, vacuum and refrigeration systems as well as around door seals. The noise-cancelling headphones of the ultrasonic leak detector ensure that the device can be used successfully even in noisy environments. The ultrasonic leak detector is used where outflows of gases from leaks in pipeline systems can occur. The noises generated by the outflow are often in the ultrasonic range and are therefore not perceived by human hearing.

The ultrasonic leak detector records this ultrasound via the sound tube and converts the inaudible ultrasound into audible frequencies. The laser pointer, which is installed in the ultrasonic leak detector, also allows an accurate targeting of the leak. The sound funnel of the ultrasonic leak detector has been designed so that it is able to pick up sound waves and bundle them in such a way that the funnel acts as a directional microphone and suppresses other noise. The scope of delivery of the ultrasonic leak detector includes a directional tube attachment, with which even the smallest leaks can be detected. The directional tube and the sound funnel can be attached easily by hand.

The leak detector PCE-GA 12 is a very easy-to-use measuring device. This leak detector detects combustible gases and emits a vibrating alarm as well as an audible alarm once a combustible gas has been detected by the leak detector. Thanks to the semi-rigid hose on the gas detection device, the sensor can be aligned in almost any position to reach even inaccessible places.

This makes the gas detection device an ideal measuring device for employees who want to detect sporadically escaping gases (testing of plants during a tour of the plant, checking engines and supply lines, testing gas supply lines). A manual setting of the leak detector is not necessary as the gas detector automatically calibrates.

Leak detector PCE-GA 10
Gas leak detector for flammable gases / Optical, acoustic and haptic alarm / Battery operation / Simple LED display

The gas leak detector PCE-GA 10 is used to check for leaks in gas pipes and connections. This gas leak detector is suitable for many flammable gases. The gas leak detector has 5 LEDs that inform the gas intensity. In addition to the visual information, the gas leak detector has an audible and haptic alarm. This means that, depending on the level, the gas leak detector emits an alarm tone and vibrates at the same time.

The leak detector is therefore ideal for detecting sporadic gases. The gas leak detector is therefore of great help to employees who want to inspect plants during a plant tour or inspect engines, supply lines or gas lines. The gas leak detector is supplied with a rechargeable battery. The sensor of the gas leak detector has an average life of approx. 5 years and can be exchanged without any problems.

The PCE-PGM 100 gloss meter works with measuring geometries of 20°, 60° and 85°, using the reflection principle. This means that the gloss meter emits light which hits the surface to be tested. A part of the light will be absorbed by the surface and another part will be reflected. After this, the gloss meter will calculate the degree of gloss.

The wide measurement range allows the user to test many different surfaces. These features make the gloss degree meter very useful for gloss measurements in quality and incoming goods control. The included software makes later evaluation of the measured data easily possible.

Small measurement area / Measurement to 1000 GU

This gloss meter with a small measuring area is used to quantify surfaces that must be measured. The gloss-measuring device operates on the reflection principle by sending light from a known light source onto the surface to be tested and calculates the gloss level of the surface according to the reflection of light particles. The gloss level in gloss units (GU) is then output to the display of the gloss meter.

The measurement geometry of the Gloss Meter PCE-SGM 60 is 60 degrees and is not adjustable. Evaluation software is included with the gloss meter which allows you to read out the measurement data to a computer and analyze and store your results. This gloss meter has data memory installed, which can accommodate up to 5,000 measured values depending on the setting.

A Gas Leak Detector without a display (Xgard) are used in combination with an external indicator or a facility to detect gases, e.g. with the Gasmaster. Gas Leak Detectors’s that operate without internal alarm relay can be used in conjunction with the GasFlag distributor.

Gas sensors
The series of sensors Xgard, TXgard, and Flamgard is always delivered calibrated and registered. By default, the sensor is delivered calibrated to methane. Please consult us for other types of calibration.

GasFlag
We offer the GasFlag for sensors without alarm relay. It is a small box for fixed installation without a display for signals for the input of 4… 20-mA. Its output has two alarm relays (max. 1 to 30V DC). The status is displayed through the LED, and it is powered to 230V.

Gasmaster
The Gasmaster is a power station of gas detection with a large display. There are several versions: 1 and 4 channels as well as with or without an interface for the PC. The Gasmaster also possesses an alarm relay with which light signals or ventilators can be activated. The systems of the Gasmaster and the gas sensors are delivered configured, calibrated and verified.

The response time of infrared gas sensors is T90 < 30 s and zero drift is approx. ± 2% per month. For highly accurate measurements and protecting the sensors exterior, there are some optional protectors. Depending on the installation site, the protector against sunlight may be the perfect option. If the sensors are mounted outside (in the open field) or in halls and pavilions that are frequently cleaned with water or disinfected from time to time, we recommend the water deflector protector. When the sensor is mounted in high humidity environments or offshore applications and vessel installations, we recommend the gas sensor with the cap resistant to rain. The cone collector is often used when you need to detect light gases (e.g. methane). This facilitates the entry of the gas into the sensor. This grealty lowers the cost of calibration. In addition, the sensors have a full temperature compensation. The ATEX, IECEx and UL norms allow them to be used worldwide.

warning for gases (Carbon Monoxide, CO, 0 … 500 ppm) / features display and signal output / with ATEX or UL approval

Here you can find an ATEX or UL approved Gas leak detector for flammable gases (ex), oxygen and toxic gases for fixed mounting. These Gas leak detectors vary by the type of gases they measure, functionality (e.g. analogue output, relay output) or the type of indicator – there are sensors with a built-in screen (as an indicator) or without. You can choose a Gas leak detector for almost any type of gas: methane, propane, butane, pentane, LPG, ethanol, ethylene, nitrogen, acetylene, benzene (lead), phosphine, oxygen, ozone, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, chlorine, ammonia (sensors for other types of gases can be requested). A Gas leak detector without a display (Xgard) are used in combination with an external indicator or a facility to detect gases, e.g. with the Gasmaster. Gas leak detectors that operate without internal alarm relay can be used in conjunction with the GasFlag distributor.

Advantages to the conventional gas sensors: The great advantage of infrared gas sensors is their long life ( > 5 years) and almost inexistent long-term drift. This grealty lowers the cost of calibration. In addition, the sensors have a full temperature compensation. The ATEX, IECEx and UL norms allow them to be used worldwide.

TXgard-Plus-O2 Single-Gas Gas Leak Detector
warning for gases (Oxygen, O2, 0 … 25 % vol) / features display and signal output / with ATEX or UL approval

You can choose a Gas Leak Detectors for almost any type of gas: methane, propane, butane, pentane, LPG, ethanol, ethylene, nitrogen, acetylene, benzene (lead), phosphine, oxygen, ozone, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen sulfide, sulfur dioxide, chlorine, ammonia (sensors for other types of gases can be requested).

It is a small box for fixed installation without a display for signals for the input of 4… 20 mA. Its output has two alarm relays (max. 1 to 30 V DC). The status is displayed through the LED, and it is powered to 230 V.

Gasmaster
The Gasmaster is a power station of gas detection with a large display. There are several versions: 1 and 4 channels as well as with or without an interface for the PC. The Gasmater also possesses an alarm relay with which light signals or ventilators can be activated.
