The LEQ noise dose meter is a sound meter with an adjustable measuring range of 30… 130 dB. With the noise dose meter, the measured values are displayed on the one hand as a normal numerical value and on the other hand also graphically in the measuring range set by the operator. In addition to normal sound measurement, a special feature of the noise dose meter is the LEQ (equivalent continuous sound level) measurement function. This measuring function is a globally recognized measure of the average sound exposure, taking into account the duration, frequency and intensity of the individual sound events.

In addition to the sound measurement, the noise dose meter can also be connected to a process interface. The noise dose meter generates a linear voltage signal of up to 2.5V. With the tripod holder on the back, the noise dose meter can be optimally positioned for the application. The calibration frequency for the class II sound level meter calibrator is 1000 Hz and is a sinusoidal shape. Compared to other calibrators, this class II sound calibrator has three adjustable sound pressure levels. 94 dB, 104 dB and 114 dB are available and can be selected by pressing a button on the class II sound calibrator. This means that an additional 104 dB sound pressure level is available. With an accuracy of ± 0.4 dB, the class II sound calibrator is particularly precise. This means that the Class II sound calibrator can be used to check sound measuring devices for their accuracy and, if necessary, to adjust them. The class II sound calibrator can optionally be equipped with an ISO certificate.

With a battery life of 50 hours, the class II sound level meter calibrator has a particularly long operating time. The integrated automatic switch-off automatically switches off the class II sound calibrator after 20 minutes of inactivity.

The sound level meter consists of a measuring microphone with a handle and a wall bracket on a 1.5 m cable, a sound transmitter. The main area of application of this sound level meter is in the continuous sound measurement and sound monitoring of factory halls, production rooms and at large events (discotheques, public festivals, cart tracks …).

The analog output signal can also be used to control window shutters… or the transmitter signals can be saved, evaluated and documented on a logger. The sound level meter is very easy to connect and can be operated via 240 V mains power.
