Photometer with external probe / Sampling rate 4 Hz / Measuring range 0 … 400 kLux / Micro-USB interface / Units: lux, footcandle / Optionally with ISO calibration certificate

The photometer has a large measuring range of 0 … 400 lux. The illuminance is measured using an external silicon photodiode with a spectral filter. This means that the photometer can be positioned appropriately for every measuring task. The measured values can be displayed by the photometer in lux and in footcandles. In addition to the normal measured value display on the photometer, the measured value is also displayed on a scale.

The photometer has additional functions so that an analysis of the illuminance can be carried out. With the additional functions of the photometer, the largest and smallest measured value can be output using the “MIN” and “MAX” buttons. In addition, the displayed measured value can be set in relation to a reference using the “REL” button. With the “PEAK” function, the photometer records peak values. The photometer has a sampling rate of 10 µs.

The PCE-LMD 10 also has a data memory of 32,000 measured values. The measured values from the photometer can be read out and analyzed on the PC after a measurement. A live measurement on the PC with the photometer is also possible. The data from the photometer can be exported in CSV format for further processing.

The built-in 3.7V Li-Ion battery can be recharged from the photometer via a 5V DC connection via the micro-USB interface. Due to its measuring range and its various functions, the photometer is used to control the lighting in greenhouses, at the workplace in production workshops or in photo studios, for example. Optionally, the photometer can be equipped with an ISO calibration certificate.

The multi-parameter photometer is a mobile measuring device for liquid analysis. This enables the most varied of measurements to be carried out with the multi-parameter photometer. With this multi-parameter photometer, for example, it is possible to determine alkalinity, chlorine, cyanuric acid or the pH value. In order to carry out a measurement with the multi-parameter photometer, a water sample of 10 ml must be placed in a cuvette. The built-in LED in the multi-parameter photometer generates a test light in the wavelength ranges of 503 nm, 570 nm and 620 nm. A photodiode now recognizes the value to be measured based on the light transmission of the sample.

Each measurement is automatically saved by the multi-parameter photometer. The stored measured values can then be read out, for example, via a mobile device via the Bluetooth interface built into the multi-parameter photometer. A free app is available to analyze the measured values from the multi-parameter photometer. It is also possible to establish a Bluetooth connection between the multi-parameter photometer and a computer. Free software is also available for this, with which the measurement data can be analyzed. As another special feature of the multi-parameter photometer, the measurement data can be uploaded to a cloud using both variants and accessed from anywhere. This service for the multi-parameter photometer is also free of charge.

Transmittance meter for measuring transmission of visible light and UV on glasses

The Photometer PCE-TT 100 is used to measure the transmission of visible light and UV light. For this purpose, the light meter uses a light source and a spectrophotometric sensor. Essentially, the light meter is used to measure the transmission of light through lenses, sunglasses and all other lenses. The light meter is used in glass production but also in opticians to test, for example, the quality of sunglass lenses.

The light meter has a USB interface to connect the PCE-TT 100 to a computer. In the supplied software, a reference measurement is first performed without the glass being placed on it with the light meter. After successful measurement, the user can now place the glass to be measured between the light source and the sensor. With a simple click, the test material is now measured by the light meter.

In the software of the light meter, the percentage deviations from the reference measured value are displayed directly. These include, shading, UV filtering, color of the glass and more. In addition to the numerical display of the measured values, the filtering of the light over the entire spectrum is graphically processed.

Measurement range up to 150,000 lx / Measures correlated color temperature (CCT) / Standard chromaticity diagrams according to CIE 1931 and CIE 1976 / Indicates wavelength / Presents tristimulus and RGB values / Includes USB interface, cable and PC software

With the photometer or spectrophotometer PCE-CRM 40, important photometric factors in the field of light measurement can be determined. These include the tristimulus values of XYZ, the u´ and v´ color location coordinates according to CIE 1976, and the xy color location coordinates according to CIE 1931. Moreover, further color statistics are measured as absolute values and differences. The user can determine the dominant wavelength within the sensitivity range of the spectrophotometer, which is 360 … 780 nm, as well as the color density (Pe) and the correlated color temperature (CCT) in Kelvin.

Also, the spectrophotometer can measure the illuminance in lux (lx) or foot-candle (fcd) as well as the light flux in lumens (lm) and show the color location in the RGB color space. Due to the ergonomic single-handed operation, the large display, memory, data interface and software, measurements with the spectrophotometer can be carried out quickly and the results are reproducible. The test results can be recorded by means of the software. Its specifications make the spectrophotometer perfectly suitable to classify and optimize lighting installations and conditions in various fields of application.

PCE-LED 20 Photometer
Handheld light meter with automatic range selection, displays measuring units in lux or footcandle

PCE-LED 20 is a photometer with an external LED light sensor. The cable of the sensor has an extended length of approx. 1.5 m / 4.9 ft. Different work or production processes require different lighting conditions. In school, office and factory environments, lighting must also meet applicable safety standards. Indoor lighting conditions can be assessed quickly and easily using this meter. The LED light meter or lux meter can display measured values directly on the display. A direct measurement is thus immediately possible. By means of various presets, the functions installed in the device can also be activated or deactivated. These functions include the normal HOLD function, in which the measured value is frozen in the display. In addition, the extreme values as well as the average value can be frozen in the display. Further functions of the LED lux meter are the zero adjustment, the automatic shutdown and the automatic range selection.

Measurements are possible with the LED lux meter in lux or footcandle. The unit has only seven keys, allowing for one-hand operation. This also makes the instrument simple to use. The LED lux meter is a battery-powered handset, making the device portable and ideal for measurements in the field.

The measuring sensor of the LED lux meter has a large exposure area. For convenience, the sensor is located on a coiled cable that can be extended to full length only when needed. A protective cap on the sensor prolongs its life. This protective cap should be placed on the sensor during storage. In addition, the protective cap is required when a zero adjustment is to be performed on the LED lux meter.

For fast and accurate light measurement

The photometer PCE-172 is used to measure the lighting conditions in industry, agriculture and research. Increasingly, the illuminometer is also used to test lighting in workplaces, in the decoration of shop windows and by designers. It meets international standards for this type of illuminometer.

The illuminometer provides measurement results in Lux and FootCandle units, where 1 fc is equal to 10.70 lux. Calculator for the conversion of lux. The device automatically detects the peak value if this value lasts for at least 10 μs. Due to the selectable measuring range the lux meter PCE-172 has high accuracy. The handling is very easy. This illuminometer can also be used by untrained persons. However, it is always important to take into account in a lux measurement that certain conditions are met. For example, the distance and angle between the illuminometer and the object to be measured should be set as accurately as possible in order to achieve reproducible results.
