PCE-CL 10 is a cable fault meter that uses the conductive method to detect metal pipes or pipe tracer wires. With PCE-CL 10, you also can locate power cables, lines, circuits, short circuits and ground points, as well as test protective tubing and coaxial cables. To perform these functions, it is not necessary to disconnect the power. Location can be identified in floors, ceilings, walls and the ground, even behind concrete and brick.

PCE-CL 10 features a detection system that is composed of a signal generator for active lines and a transmitter or receiver for cables without current. The signal generator feeds high-frequency electromagnetic signals through the lines being tested. At the end of the cable, these signals are converted into acoustic or optical signals by the receiver.

The cable length measuring device PCE-CLT 10 is a multifunctional device which enables high accuracy and fast measurement results. If used appropriately, the cable length meter can be used to measure cables that have already been installed and are still to be installed. The cable length measuring device can be used to determine cable lengths of up to three kilometers. This is done by a time domain reflectometer. On the cable length measuring device itself, 20 standard types of cables are pre-stored and further storage of up to 99 cable types is also possible on the device itself. The stored data can be viewed directly on the device and can be used as required. Due to the built-in technology comparatively short cables can already be tested. The minimum length that a cable must have, which should be examined with the Cable Length Gauge.

To increase battery life, the device automatically shuts off after 10 minutes of inactivity. This automatic shutdown can be set individually by the user at intervals of 10 minutes. In addition to the automatic shutdown, the device offers a bright TFT display, which makes a quick reading of the measurement results also possible due to its backlighting.

Voltage tester with many measuring functions / For electricians and IT employees / Analysis of network connection cables / Telephone connection test / Voltage and current measurement / NCV / backlight

The voltage tester is a versatile measuring instrument. In addition to the standard voltage and current measurements, the voltage tester also has a network analysis. With this network analysis, the voltage tester can be used to check, for example, LAN connections for their correct wiring and function. Telephone connections can also be checked for their function with this voltage tester. If cables can not be found again, the voltage tester also helps here.

Thanks to the cable finder function of the voltage tester, the operator can find the required cable in no time at all. To do this, the voltage tester must be connected to the connection of a cable. The voltage tester now acts as a transmitter. With the supplied receiver you can now easily find the desired cable in, for example, a wiring harness or behind walls with the voltage tester.

To check whether a voltage is applied to a cable, the voltage tester has an NCV (Not Connected Voltage) function. With this function, the voltage tester must only be held to the line. Both acoustically and visually, the voltage tester signals the operator that a voltage is applied to the line. Thanks to this contactless measuring function, the voltage tester reduces accidents at work due to electric shock.

Locating device with a network cable finder function / Cable finder adjustable intensity / Suitable for mobile applications / Continuity check / RJ 45, RJ 11, BNC, coaxial cable

The locating device is a universally applicable measuring device. With this locating device, for example, RJ11 ISDN telephone lines can be checked for their function. For this purpose it is sufficient to connect the RJ 11 plug of the locating device to the telephone socket. The locator instantly shows the operator if this port is connected. A ringing test is also possible with the locating device. For this, the connection must be called via an external telephone. Another function of the locating device is the testing of LAN connections in sockets. In this test method, the locating device indicates a short circuit, incorrect wiring, “reversed” or “split pairs”.

Another special feature of the locating device is the storage option. All additional modules of the locating device can be safely plugged into the main module. This prevents the loss of a module at the locating device. Even the exposed test leads of the locating device can be stored safely. Thanks to this stowage possibility, the locating device can be easily transported.

Furthermore, the cable tester can be used to locate lines and determine the connection between cables. The cable tester is a universally applicable test device for the electrician and service technician. The cable tester PCE-LT 20 consists of a main unit and a remote display. The remote unit is used to control the assignment of the wire pairs on a remote network socket.

Furthermore, the remote unit of the cable tester is also used as a receiver for the locating signal for cable search. Using the USB sockets, the connection can be checked by a USB cable using the cable tester. The cable tester PCE-LT 20 can also be used to check analog telephone systems. For this purpose, the main unit is simply connected to a telephone jack instead of a terminal. Two LEDs on the cable tester signal an incoming call.

Cable finder with voltage tester / Non-conducting probe tip / Headphone jack / RJ-11 Plug with crocodile clamps / For line break detection / For non-live cables / Transport bag

The cable finder PCE-186 CB consists of a transmitter and a receiver. The transmitter of the line finder has many functions. For example, the line finder can be used to find wires in walls or break cables. Another function of the line finder is the testing of telephone sockets. To do this, the RJ-11 connector must be plugged into the telephone socket to be tested. The transmitter of the line finder signals an incoming call based on the LEDs. This feature does not require a phone for verification.

In addition to these functions, the line finder has a multimeter function. This allows AC voltages and DC voltages up to 1000 VDC to be measured. Furthermore, resistance measurements and continuity measurements are possible. Because of this variety of functions, the line finder is an optimal helper for maintenance and repair work on cables.
