The handy electrical tester PCE-HDM 5 is ideally suited for beginners in electrical engineering. Due to its small dimensions, the PCE-HDM 5 electrical tester can fit in any drawer or in the glove compartment of a car. Both AC voltage and current as well as DC voltage and current can be measured with the PCE-HDM 5 electrical tester. The resistance measurement, the diode test and the continuity test are also part of the functionality of the PCE-HDM 5. The user can still use the MAX function to support the evaluation. To protect the battery, the electrical tester PCE-HDM 5 has an automatic shutdown after 15 min. inactivity integrated.

In addition to these measuring functions, the PCE-HDM 5 compact electrical tester has a Bluetooth interface that can be used to connect the electrical tester to a smartphone or tablet, which adds the possibility for the tablet to be used as a datalogger. The electrical tester also has a flashlight that can be used for measuring point lighting. Of course, the display of the electrical tester is also equipped with LED lighting, which ensures comfortable reading from the display.
