A special feature of the health and safety measuring instrument is the measurement function LEQ (equivalent continuous sound level) in addition to the normal sound measurement. This measurement function is a globally recognized measure of the average sound exposure, taking into account the duration, frequency and intensity of the individual sound events.

In addition to the sound measurement, the safety device can also be connected to a process interface. Here, the safety device generates a linear voltage signal of up to 2.5V.
