The salinity refractometer is a precision measuring instrument based on the measurement of the refractive index of a liquid. With the help of the salt content refractometer, the user can measure the salt concentration in a liquid already in a small amount of sample. To get a meaningful result, it is sufficient to drip a few drops of liquid into the stainless-steel tray of the meter. In the sample tray a prism is enclosed, and by means of refraction, the salt content is measured in this way. In addition, thanks to an integrated temperature indicator, the display provides information on the measured temperature of the liquid.
