The process controller / temperature controller PCE-C91P is a very compact PID controller measuring 48 x 48 mm (1/16 DIN). To make safe and fast control possible, the temperature controller is equipped with a fuzzy controller. This changes the PID parameters in the temperature controller so that setpoints can be reached quickly but with little overshoot. Thanks to a measuring rate of 5 Hz, this temperature controller can also be used in fast processes. Furthermore, the temperature controller PCE-C91P offers a number of functions which make the use easy and comfortable.

With the auto-tune function, the temperature controller determines the optimum PID parameters during commissioning. In order to avoid extreme situations, the temperature controller can use the soft-start function to ensure the setpoint is reached via a ramp with adjustable slope. Depending on the version, the temperature controller is equipped with a 4 … 20 mA input. Thus, many different sensors can be connected to the process controller. The controller output from the process controller can be designed as relay output or analog output. Further options are an additional relay output, a sensor supply or an analogue output as a representation of the measured value.
