The PCE-LCTB 62/30 (40) DIN rail measuring device is used when alternating currents in circuits are too high to be directly detected by measuring devices. The DIN rail measuring instrument converts the primary current into a proportionally reduced secondary current, which can be processed by a measuring device. In addition, the DIN rail measuring instrument protects connected measuring devices from excessive voltages. Depending on the version, the DIN-rail measuring devices of the PCE-LCTB 62/30 (40) series can detect primary currents from 50 A to 800 A and convert these into a 1 A or 5 A secondary current.
